Reflexology
Dr. William Fitzgerald was one of the pioneers of modern reflexology. An American, he realised the connection of applying pressure to the feet to relieve various conditions, he called this Zone therapy, an awareness that energy lines ran throughout the body and that there were over 7,000 nerve endings in the feet that connected to all the organs of the body.
This was further developed by Eunice Ingham, known as ‘the mother of reflexology’. She developed the foot maps that are still used today by students all over the world. She is credited with introducing reflexology to the non-medical community, making it possible for anyone to learn the technique.
Today it is one of the fastest growing therapies in the world and has gained much respect by many health care professionals. It is widely used in hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, and is particularly useful for people with mental or physical disabilities.

Castor Oil Packs
Using castor oil packs can be very beneficial while trying to conceive.
How do they help?
* Inflammation can be greatly reduced if used regularly.
The oil is absorbed into the skin, this is helped by the application of heat to the area where the oil is applied.
This helps to get rid of stagnation and bring fresh oxygenated blood to the pelvic area.
It can also help reduce pain from endometriosis, cysts and fibroids.
Can be very beneficial before undergoing any assisted conception.
They can be used 2/3 times from cycle day 5 to ovulation.
Castor oil packs can also be used by anyone with bloating , digestive issues and constipation.
I am now offering them during a reflexology treatment.
I use cold pressed organic castor oil with the addition of essential oils for your particular need.
This will enhance the treatment greatly.
A pack with the blend is placed on the abdomen, a heated stone is also used. This will be left on for the duration of your treatment. There is no mess when using a professional oil pack.
